Shredded by Summer - Day 2

Just a quick update while I'm waiting for my next class. I'm going to try doing 2-A-Day workouts for the next couple of days, kind of shock my body back into getting used to a high workload again. This should be good for me especially since I let myself go for the past couple of months. All my lifts are absolutely trash right now. I used to be able to hit 225x4 on bench, today, I barely even hit 1. Not good. That's what I get for slacking off I guess haha. But I'm determined now, more than ever, to get bigger and leaner than I ever was.

  1. Hopefully the 2/day works out for you brah. I tried that for a bit but couldn't keep up with it with school and work and whatnot. But if you have the time and energy for it, you should def do it up.

  2. I probably wouldn't do related, or closely related groups in one day such as chest then arms. Because depending on what you did for chest, your tri's might be already worn. It would be better if you did something like chest/legs or shoulders/core.

  4. I can't see the same problem as hwidman. As long as you pay attention to your body, deload regularly and eat and sleep enough you won't risk over training.

    Thats how I been losing all my weight, that and strict dieting.

  12. I have been doing 2-a-days for a couple weeks now and I feel a lot more accomplished lol. I have no excuse to not do cardio, so I try to do it every day, except maybe after leg day :)

  23. don't do 2 workouts a day, at least not two weight training workouts.

    Do one weight training workout and give your body time to rest (atleast 72 hours between major muscle groups) that's the only way your muscles will grow.

    If you insist on a second workout, make it cardiovascular.

    Run a daily 250-500 calorie deficet (make sure to factor calories you will burn with your workouts) and try not to exceed a 750+ daily deficit (it's not really healthy).
